Towards the end of 2009, Luma Arcade was contracted by GarageGames to take over the development and maintenence of the iPhone version of Torque Game Builder engine.
We were approached to take on this large task due to our experience working intimately with the Torque engine, and the quality of the titles that we have created in doing so. Since then, the engine has been renamed to fit Torque's new project line and is now called Torque 2D for the iPhone.
Focussing on the user experience, we are doing all that we can to give developers an easy to use, out of the box experience for 2D iPhone game development.
Going forward into 2010, we will be spending a great deal of energy on a complete overhaul of the engine to bring it in line with what will be on offer with GarageGames' standard Torque 2D product.
